Woo eong jo lim (Burdock in sweet soy sauce)

  1 stick burdock (woo eong)

  3 tbsp soy sauce

  3 tbsp sugar

  2 tbsp vegetable oil

  1/2 tsp pepper

  1/4 tsp sesame seed

Peel burdock with vegetable peeler.
Cut into 2 inches length, julienne it.

Put the pan on a medium-high heat, add oil, soy sauce and sugar, bring to a boil.
When the bubble comes up, add burdock and pepper.
Cook until the moisture absorbed.

Serve with some sesame seed on top.
