In Korea, we have "mi yeok gook" in the birthday morning.
Mi yeok (dried seaweed) has iodine and calcium, which helps to stop bleeding and uterine contraction after labor a child. So it has been a tradition for nursing mother  to have a lot of "mi yeok gook". What a clever idea!!!
Also, by eating it, think about our mother and thank her for all the hard work she has been put on to us!!!
