 Jo gae gook (Clam soup) serves

small clams, cleaned |
1 red
chili pepper, chopped |
1 green
onion, chopped |
1/6
pack doo boo (tofu) |
1/2
chili |
1/2
tbsp salt |
4 cups
water |
In a pot, add water and clams.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat, just after clams open up take them out.
Add salt, chili, tofu and
chopped green onion, cook for another minute or so. Put clams back to the
pot.
Garnish with strips of red
chili pepper.
cool tip ! Buy clams that closed firmly.
Wash outside of the clams and put them in a salted water to get rid of possible
dirt inside of them.
